Quattro™ Proceeding

CleverSoft follows the well established and constantly improved project structure Quattro™ for all its software development projects.

To meet the need for continuous optimization and improvement is, CleverSoft uses an iterative approach. That is, the individual project phases are performed repeatedly in Quattro™ and continuously improved with each iteration. However, from the first cycle on, we keep the overall design in mind, so that further iterations are performed only when requests for changes are made or new requirements emerge.

A CleverSoft project can be divided into four sections:

• Formulating objectives
• Concept
• Development
• Delivery

Formulating Objectives

In the beginning, CleverSoft analysts are working together with the client to set concrete objectives. The current business processes and workflows are investigated. The results of the target analysis should be recorded in a target paper [Market Requirements Document (MRD)]. For the best internal audit practice, we combine a number of industry-accepted best practices. We provide enterprise-wide standards for software processes, which are recorded in the target profile.

Concept

Architecture

Now CleverSoft draws a plan with technologically possible options for the implementation of the target profile. A program concept and a detailed project overview are outlined. Results derived in this phase are again reviewed with the client.

Design & Prototype

CleverSoft makes a detailed design for the structure of the software and the database. Drafts of the screens are discussed with the customer as a prototype and further refined. Changes requested by the customers are implemented accordingly. Our goal is an ergonomic software and a high degree of user-friendliness at all levels.

Rollout Planning

The rollout, including data migration, training, etc., is planned.

Specifications

Results of the analysis and the design are compiled and formulated into a complete concept, which defines the the future business processes and the requirements to be implemented.

Development

Realization and Implementation

CleverSoft programs the software in accordance with the structure plan and sets up the system structures.

Quality Control

To ensure high level of quality, we develop a transparent test plan to check if our software functions properly. In addition, where appropriate, we include a stress-test (a simulation of many simultaneous requests). During the quality check, we offer our customer insight on the current program status.

We manage all our projects, documents and source code with CVS, a widely used open source version- and source-control system. All errors are documented and processed in CleverSoft BugTracing system.

Delivery

Installation

Upon completion CleverSoft installs the software on the specified target systems.

Training

For CleverSoft, the training of customers on our software product is part of the contract.

Rollout & Migration

All existing data, processes, procedures, billing are integrated into the system. At this stage CleverSoft operates hand in hand with the customer.

Approval

During the final inspection, the client tests the software on its full functionality. Only after this step, CleverSoft considers the project complete. Upon request CleverSoft helps the customer in creating a test plan for final inspection.

Maintenance

CleverSoft maintains their software and systems. For example, this includes the installation of small additional features. We respond readily to increased memory requirements of the database or to desired server migration.

Milestones & Gateways

After each phase of the general project plan there is a gateway. At this point, the results of the previous phase are examined together with the client and a decision on further actions is made.
