  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as English, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • Proven experience as a technical writer in the IT industry.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.
  • Knowledge of IT terminology, concepts, and technologies, including software development, networking, and cloud computing.
  • Strong research skills to gather information from subject matter experts and other resources.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with developers, engineers, and other team members.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) for organizing and publishing documentation.
  • Familiarity with writing for different formats, such as user manuals, online help, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Understanding of industry standards and best practices for technical documentation.
  • Adaptability to learn new technologies and keep up with industry trends.

As a Technical Writer you will:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and technical teams to gather information and understand complex IT systems, software, or products.
  • Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, release notes, and knowledge base articles.
  • Translate technical jargon and complex concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Organize and structure documentation content for ease of navigation and reference.
  • Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Create diagrams, charts, and visuals to aid in the comprehension of technical concepts and processes.
  • Collaborate with software product development, engineers, and quality assurance teams to ensure that documentation aligns with product features and functionality.
  • Stay up to date with changes in technology and software updates and incorporate these changes into documentation as needed.
  • Gather feedback from end-users to improve the quality and usability of documentation.
  • Manage documentation version control using tools like Git to track changes and revisions.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams and end-users on how to effectively use and navigate the documentation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT and technical writing.

You will work with an international team of experts on multiple client solutions and an expanding portfolio of standard software solutions.
