cleversoft Signs Agreement to Acquire Austrian FinTech Company FAIT

Munich/Vienna, May 21, 2026 – The cleversoft group, a leading provider of cloud-based RegTech services for financial institutions, has signed a binding agreement to acquire FAIT Internet Software GmbH. The Austrian B2B FinTech company, headquartered in Vienna, was founded in 2000 and has been developing software solutions for digital securities advisory and wealth management for over 25 years. Closing of the transaction is expected later this year and is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

FAIT currently serves nearly 50 banks and insurance companies in Austria and is considered a leading WealthTech provider in the domestic market. Its product portfolio includes the securities advisory solution PIA (Portfolio Illustrator Advanced), which enables financial institutions to deliver a fully digital advisory journey, from capturing the client’s investment profile through to order execution, as well as more than 60 modular APIs for complex and highly regulated processes such as stress testing, suitability checks, and reporting.

In addition, FAIT brings deep integration into sector-specific data centers, proven interfaces with major Austrian banking groups, and extensive market expertise across the DACH region to the cleversoft group.

The acquisition complements cleversoft’s existing portfolio with flexible frontend technologies and additional services for integrated end-to-end workflows in digital financial advisory, portfolio management, and wealth management. Combined with the best-in-class portfolio optimization engines of tetralog systems – part of the cleversoft group since 2024 – a holistic WealthTech platform is being created under the cleversoft umbrella. This platform supports advisory and distribution organizations efficiently and seamlessly along the entire value chain of financial, insurance, and investment advisory.

The cloud-based platform is also suited for self-service applications for end customers, such as robo-advisory solutions, thereby supporting a wide range of business models in the financial industry – fully compliant and with minimal customization effort.

Customers of both companies will benefit from a significantly expanded offering: existing cleversoft clients will gain access to FAIT’s digital securities advisory solutions—including the PIA advisory software and additional modular APIs – which can be seamlessly integrated into existing compliance and advisory processes.

In turn, FAIT clients will gain access to the broad, cloud-based RegTech offering of the cleversoft group – from the creation, distribution, and archiving of regulatory documents in investment advisory in accordance with MiFID II, as well as the implementation of ESG and SFDR requirements, to solutions for the prevention of financial crime and fraud, including AI-based transaction monitoring, through to regulatory reporting.
