The implementation of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) poses numerous challenges for financial market participants. cleversoft offers a cloud-based service suite that enables companies to ensure efficient and reliable reporting in compliance with the regulation. In a three-part webinar series in November 2023, we presented the range of our SFDR services to our customers – including specific information on the onboarding process and how to use the software.
In Part 1, we looked at the creation of the required SFDR documents for Art. 8 and Art. 9 products. We gave a comprehensive overview of our SFDR service options that provide efficient support in the creation of the documents. Based on our broad market study we have put in place various options, and each client can decide which ones they would like to apply to their documents. Among other things, the following points were examined in more detail:
- Asset Allocation graph: decide whether to display values or only the headers of the boxes.
- Taxonomy chart: choose whether to show it even if taxonomy is zero or hide it in such cases.
- Sub-Sector allocation graph: choose whether it should be displayed next to the main sector allocation.
In part 2, several questions regarding the use of the cleversoft SFDR solution were discussed, such as manual data imports, exports, and ad-hoc document creation.
Part 3 then focused on the Principal Adverse Sustainability Impacts (PASI) Statement report. We shared some new findings from our own market study, which we performed after the publication of the first round of PASI reporting in June 2023. Among other things, our experts discussed the still inharmonious approach to calculating PAI values on the market and what is cleversoft’s interpretation of the same and what flexibility we offer to our clients. The following topics were also covered:
- Comparability and review of PAI values
- Impact of single positions on PAI values
- Values in range e.g. for GHG emissions
- Quality of data coverage
